The Pike River Mine Disaster

 What do I think i know about this disaster: I know that this happen in a  Mine cause of an potential explosion and that many people died in this disaster

What do I think I will find out about this disaster: What made the explosion and how many people died in this terrible incident

Read and Research:

1. On the West Coast of New Zealand

2. In November 2008 but this was built in 2005

3. 31 miners inside the mine 

4. 2 people got out of the mine 

5. To try to recover the bodies that were still in the mine

6. Jacinda promised everyone to unseal and retrieve the bodies from the mine

2. Daniel The other Survivor saved Russel 

3. Russel was almost left to dead by an electrician who saw Russel and just left him

4. Daniel's younger brother that was 21 years old died 

5. They turned on taps to clear up the smoke 

6. They couldn't find the reason why the my exploded

What do I think I know about this Disaster: That the Wahine sunk while trying to get to Wellington Harbour

What do I think I will find out about this Disaster: How many people died and how did it sink 

Read and Research:

1. Heavy Raining ,Storms and Windy Weather

2. To Welington Harbour

3. There were 4 but 1 sinked so 3 boats

4. I think to jump in the water and try to swim to shore

5. I think cause some of the boats sunk

6. 53 people died
